Once a client has decided to build with Bevnol, there are numerous matters that need to be coordinated. These can include drafting, engineering, energy assessments, colour selections, contracts, site information, permit documentation and communication between different consultants.

Many of these tasks are interconnected. A change to one part of the design may affect the engineering, energy rating, working drawings or pricing.

That is why collaboration is so important.

Kristin brings experience across building administration, estimating, quoting, pre-site management and project coordination. Melissa assists clients from the point they decide to proceed through the steps required to obtain the building permit, while continuing to provide support during construction.

Together, they communicate with clients, drafting, engineers, suppliers, consultants and the construction team to help keep the project moving in the correct sequence.

The pre-site stage can feel complicated because much of the work is technical and may happen behind the scenes. However, each item plays a role in ensuring the project is properly documented before construction begins.

Clients are not expected to understand every drawing, report or process on their own.

Our role is to explain what is happening, identify what is required next and help the various parts of the project come together.

A custom home is rarely created by one person working independently. It requires cooperation between the client, builder, consultants and construction team.
